Product Description and User Guide

This ultra-compact Tiny Timer Light Switch is a transistorized electronic timer designed for small applications, such as in-car reading lights. The circuit operates on a 12V DC power supply and is easy to install. The unit provides a high-efficiency white LED light for a set duration and can be powered through the car's cigar lighter socket.

• Power: Features reverse supply voltage protection and must be connected permanently to the power source.
• Output: Direct 12V Output at 0.15A, capable of driving a powerful diode.

Power Supply:

• Input Voltage: 12V DC
• Time Adjustment: Controlled by a trimmer
• Activation: Timer can be started via two methods:
  • Positive pulse
  • Push button

Wires for power supply, output, and the activating 12V+ input need to be soldered before use.

Principle of Operation:

When powered, the timer remains in standby mode until it receives a 12V+ pulse from the activating input. Once triggered, the timer activates and remains on for the set time, as defined by the trimmer setting. The cycle can be restarted with another pulse.

Push Button Activation:

To use a push button for activation:

• Connect one wire from the activating 12V+ input and another wire from the 12V+ power supply to the push button. When pressed, the timer will start.

Adjusting Time Range:

If a different delay range is required, you can replace the black capacitor with one of a larger or smaller value to extend or shorten the delay.

Important Notes:

• The device is supplied as an assembled and tested unit but requires soldering of wires for power input, output, and activation.
• The device does not come with a plastic box, only the circuit board as shown in the picture.
