Product Description and User Guide

This time relay operates with an adjustable accuracy range of 3 to 750 seconds.

Plate Dimensions: 35mm x 18mm x 12mm
Box Dimensions: 40mm x 17mm x 21mm
Output: Direct 12V/1A
Wiring: Supplied with 10 cm wires:
- Red: Positive 12V+
- Black: Negative 12V-
- White: Output 12V+
- Blue: Output 12V-
- Orange: Activating 12V+ input

The relay features protection against reverse supply voltage and operates on a 12V DC power supply. The time delay is adjustable via a trimmer. The device consumes no power when in standby mode.

Principle of Operation:

Once powered on, the timer remains inactive until a 12V+ pulse is detected at the activating input (orange wire). Upon receiving the pulse, the timer is activated and maintains this state until the end of the pre-set time. If a new pulse is received, the cycle resets, and the timer is reactivated for the specified time.

Application Example – Delay-Off for Car LED Lights:

Orange wire should be connected to the contact switch.
Red and Black wires should be connected directly to the car battery (red to 12V+ and black to 12V-), via a 1A fuse.
White wire (positive) and Blue wire (negative) connect to the LED light.

When the contact switch is turned on, it will provide 12V+ to the timer, turning the lights on. When the contact switch is turned off, the timer will start the countdown, keeping the lights on for the pre-set time (up to 750 seconds) before they turn off.

Important Notes:

If the total power consumption of the lights exceeds 1A, an additional relay must be used in place of the bulb in the circuit to prevent damage to the timer.
